Telemetry Products
The EIDEL Telemetry Systems are based on 40 years of experience at EIDEL. They are focused on short learning time, ease of use and the ability to meet new requirements.
EIDEL's standard telemetry products include PCM Encoders, PCM Decoders and Solid State Recorders. Complementary units and interfaces are often made on customers demand.

| Encoder Systems | |
| Encoders are data collection systems for sensors. The sensors can be analog and/or digital signal sources. The analog sensor output may be voltage, current, resistance, charge or frequency. A signal conditioning module is often required to convert the sensor signal to a standard form matching the input of the encoder. Digital signal sources can be serial data links as Aring-429, Mil-std-1553, RS-232, RS-422 or Ethernett. | |

EE240 PCM Encoder System | The EE240 PCM Encoder System formats the sensor data to a serial digital continous bitstream according to the IRIG standard 106. This is a common standard worldwide in military and aerospace test and monitoring applications. |

EDDAS Aircraft system testing EIDEL Distributed Data Acquisition System (EDDAS) | The EIDEL Distributed Data Acquisition System (EDDAS) is a cutting edge, complete data acquisition system. It is designed to be highly modular and flexible, covering a wide area of user applications ranging from basic encoder tasks to some of the most demanding data acquisition challenges. Time synchronisation with IEEE-1588 PTP standard. Supports IRIG 106 and other international standards. The modularity makes it easy adaptable to other standards as CCSDS and iNET. |
| Solid State Data Recording Systems | |
| The EE235 Solid State recorders are built as taperecorders. Serial or parallell bitstream input stored in a continously string. Data is readout in the same order they where recorded. The new EDDAS system has a new unit (E3505 SSR) with removable CF cards and file system storage wich makes the data easy to read in standard PC. | |
Solid State Recorder for Ariane 5 Launcher EE235 Solid State Recorder | Recording of measurements data can be short term before retransmission or long term before analysis. Traditionally data was recorded with a taperecorder. EIDEL provides short term storage with Solid State Recorders. These use Flash memories to sustain hostile environments where tape transport becomes a problem. |
| PCM Decoder Systems | |
| The PCM Decoder systems is based on more than 40 years of experience at EIDEL. The PCM decoder synchronises to a serial data stream coming from an encoder, online, via radio, from a recorder or from a data file stored by the decoder. The received datastream is decoded and the individual sensor data signals are extracted for visualisation. The decoders follow the common IRIG 106 and similar international standards. |
| Aircraft prototype testing and others. | The EE350 Telemetry Decoder System covers the IRIG 106 01 PCM standard class l-ll and Arnic 573. Asynchronous embedded packets decoding is included. The EE350 system consist of plug-in boards for the common PC 32 bit PCI bus and Windows System Software. The EE350 have a built-in data storage to PC disk function. This is useful for long term storage of telemetry data and following playback analysis of the sensor signals. |
UAS applications and others. EE360 Airborne Decoder datasheet | The EE360 Airborne Decoder can be used both in UAS's and other applications for control, but also directly connected to a laptop computer using USB 2.0 for data analysis. It will no longer be required to use a tower pc. The EE360 can easily be combined with the EE240 Encoder resulting in the option of having both a decoder and an encoder in a single box. |
